Guy Bourassa

CEO

Mr. Guy Bourassa graduated from the Université Laval, Québec, law school in 1983. He was a member of the Quebec Bar from 1983 to October 2011. During his career as an attorney, he has mainly worked with Quebec mining exploration businesses. He was President and Director of Radisson Mining Resources inc. from November 1988 to June 1991. He was also President and director of Dufresnoy Industrial minerals inc. from May 1994 to November 1996, and corporate secretary of Mazarin Mining Corporation inc. from September 1991 to June 1994. He was President and CEO of Monarques Resources inc., from March 2011 to October 2012 and director until April 2020. He has acted as director of Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. from February 2017 to June 2019. He was the founder, director and has acted as President and CEO of Nemaska Lithium Inc. from January 2008 to February 2020.

Pierre Neatby

President & COO

Mr. Neatby has over 30 years of experience in the base and critical metals business. He spent 20 years with Noranda in various commercial roles including aluminum sales. He spent 9 years at Avalon Advanced Materials focusing on rare earths and critical metals fostering relationships with end users. He has lived and worked in Toronto, London and Madagascar. Mr. Neatby is a graduate of Queen's University in Kingston, is a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is fully bilingual.

Dr. Luc Duchesne

Chief Science Officer

Dr. Duchesne bridges the gap between science and business with over 35 years of experience operating at senior levels in multiple sectors, including pharmaceutical, agriculture, manufacturing, energy, and mining. He has authored and co-authored 85 peer-reviewed scientific articles, literature reviews and books and over 300 non-peer-reviewed and investment articles and op-eds, including one fiction novel. He is passionate about sustainability and the impact of humankind on the environment. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Guelph in 1988, an MSc from the University of Toronto in 1985 and a BSc in Forestry Sciences from Laval University in 1983. As a former senior scientist with Natural Resources Canada from 1991 to 2003, he received a 5NR Science Award to Leaders in Sustainable Development for advancing and communicating science for sustainable development.

Jean-François Magnan

Chief Technology Officer

Former Technical Manager of Nemaska Lithium Inc. from the early development stage of 2012 to the construction stage of the 1.5B$ project until the beginning of 2020. Prior to that, he held several positions within the industry such as R&D Advisor, R&D Project Manager, Consultant and metallurgist. He also acted as a promoter and Project Manager for Phostech Lithium Inc. at the early stage. Phostech Lithium now became today the Nano One Material Corp Battery Material such as Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) plant in Candiac, Québec, Canada. Mr. Magnan is the owner of many patents in the lithium rechargeable batteries field. He holds a master’s Degree in Materials Engineering from Laval University (2000). Until now, he has participated in the development and marketing of several new technologies. He is co-author of patents from the University of Montreal, Hydro-Québec and the CNRS on lithium iron phosphate Cathode Active Material (CAM). These patents have been sublicensed worldwide by LiFePO4 + C Licensing AG in 2011. LiFePO4+C Licensing represents the patent owners for this technology: Hydro-Québec (Montréal); Université de Montréal; and Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, Paris).

Steve Nadeau

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Steve Nadeau is a CPA since 1998, and he completed in May 1991 a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the Moncton University. Amongst other things, he brings more than 30 years of experience and knowhow in management, financing structures, strategic planning, accounting, negotiation and in finance; of which, most of the years are at senior level positions in the mining, manufacturing, electronics, automotive and the construction industries. He acted as a key negotiator in several agreements and in other important financing and sales agreements. During his carrier as a senior officer in several businesses, he played key roles in raising close to $1.5 Billion dollars during his carrier through a combination of equity, debt, advance payments and grants at both international and national levels to fund companies. Today, Steve is Chief Financial Officer at Scandium Canada, a metals technology company focused on advancing the Crater Lake project, one of the world's largest Scandium projects currently under development.

Pierre Guay

Technical Advisor, Exploration

Over 25 years experience in exploration, including mine development and production. Led the Quest Minerals’ team as Manager of Exploration that developed the Strange Lake rare earth deposit and is formerly an Area Geologist with Vale Inco Exploration for 19 years.
