Our Projets

Crater Lake camp scandium

Located approximately 200 km northeast of Schefferville, Quebec, the Crater Lake project is our flagship. We hold 100% rights to 96 claims covering 47 km². This site is recognized as one of the most promising primary sources of scandium globally.

Scalium+

Scalium+ is the result of the merger between Scandium+ (a Scandium Canada’s divison) and Ferreol Technologies, two visions united by a shared ambition: to transform the manufacturing industry through advanced materials innovation.

By bringing together Ferreol Technologies’ expertise in high-strength aluminum alloy development and ecofriendly surface treatment technology with Scandium Canada’s pioneering work in aluminum-scandium alloys for additive manufacturing, Scalium+ is built to accelerate what neither could achieve alone.

The combined portfolio spans the full spectrum of next-generation aluminum-scandium solutions, called Scalium®. Ferreol Technologies contributes with a patented high-strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Sc alloy engineered for aerospace, defense, and sports equipment applications, alongside the FST chrome-free surface treatment platform. Scandium+ brings two patent-pending Al-Sc alloys, AA7075 and A535, developed in collaboration with McMaster University, optimized for 3D printing and Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing.

From laser powder bed fusion and WAAM to structural armor plating and aerospace structures, Scalium+ delivers materials engineered for the demands of the industries that matter most, aerospace, defense, automotive, and beyond.

We believe the future of manufacturing is lighter, stronger, and more sustainable. At Scalium+, we’re here to make that future real.

We are proud to collaborate with the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach, with whom we signed a pre-development agreement in 2024. This agreement establishes a foundation for respectful collaboration on all pre-development activities within traditional Naskapi territory.
